Yes, it has been awhile again. I tried updating a few days ago, something went crazy, yada, yada, yada.

Anyhow, I have at least spent some time in the shop working on pieces for a few charity events, and through it I started a new ink on paper series I'm thinking of calling "Compression Constellations".

So immediately after Open Studios I had to finish a bicycle rack that I was commissioned to build for the Unitarian Memorial Church in Fairhaven, Ma. I like to think it turned out pretty well...

I guess I'd better keep up on the art side as well. This piece, "Self Inspection" will be on display at the Gallery X Sample Show for the upcoming New Bedford Open Studios .

the 450...

Yeah, I should be focusing on the sculpture right now, where's the fun in worrying about deadlines that aren't here yet? I've been rebuilding a 1970 cb450 from the frame up over the winter and should be firing it up for the first time really soon. I hope. Still plenty to do (and some to redo) but here we are right now.
